Is agriculture dutyfree in Thailand ?

Hi dear , My wife is going back to live in Thailand , and I live in the USA now , I want to know if sending agriculture to Thailand from here is dutyfree ?
I want to send 4 used tractor to esan Thailand , through the sea and somebody told me that consider agriculture and could be free of tax
Would you kindly let me know if you have any info about this matter

Hi Kevin,

Sounds like your talking about agricultural equipment.

In this case, you're going to be taxed. Sometimes up to 300% of what value customs places on each tractor, not what you think the tractor is worth, or what it was valued at by anyone else.

And sometimes, customs doesn't allowed used vehicles to be imported into Thailand, although I think there are some workarounds.

I'd get in touch with a shipping company closest to you, and ask them about the details. They'll probably be able to give you free advice.

Where in the US are you?

I used Lanna shipping in NYC to ship our stuff here. I'd recommend them.
