Thank you for the detailed post. I came to this page actually looking for information on how soon I can buy a car and the documents that the dealer or owner would need from a buyer. I have the work permit. Do I need to have 6 months statement of bank account or so as I’m staying at Pathum Thani province and a car seems essential here.
I presume that you will be requesting finance from the dealer? In all honesty it depends on the dealer as they like to see financial stability which is why they normally request 6 months worth of statements. If you can show them a work contract or perhaps proof of funds from your home country this may suffice.
The best option is to actually speak to the dealer and see what they accept as they have different policies and it is possible they may assist you based on your personal circumstances or amount of deposit which will be paid.If you are just buying outright for cash then it doesn’t matter regarding the statements.
