Leasing a car with a marriage visa and a guarantor

+1 vote

I am a retiree with US social security benefit pension for myself and our daughter. I have a marriage visa. I want to buy (finance) a new car using Nissan leasing.. If my Thai wife and I can convince one of her gainfully employed brothers to be guarantor do you anticipate a problem? (I can make a 25% or more down payment).

I don't think there will be any problem for this. On the worse case, your wife's brother need to response for the loan if you are unable pay it.Also, it is possible to make a loan without a guarantor when you increase the deposit to 50-70% of the car price. However, it depends of what banks and employees you are talking with.
